MOE SG50 Roadshow Exhibition
Singapore - In conjunction with the celebration of Singapore’s 50th year of independence, the Ministry of Education of Singapore (MOE), held a public exhibition between 10 July and 30 August to showcase the growth and evolution of Singapore’s education sector. To further reach out to the public, the exhibit was roved to 4 different places around Singapore – Changi City Point, Westgate, AMK Hub and Suntec City Mall.
Milton Singapore team was deeply involved in this project, from creative event concept to the organization of various activities, curating & designing content to building the exhibits, all with a mission to invite visitors to go through the journey of Singapore education policies and direction.
In addition to managing exciting event highlights such as speeches by ministers, performances from various schools, stage games, old-school activities such as five stones and hopscotch, the Milton team also aimed to further engage the public by designing an activity card for all exhibition-goers to complete, to entice them in redeeming limited edition goodie bags. On top of these, Milton Singapore team also introduced an emotional dimension to the event by teasing the public with vintage-themed pop-up classrooms prior to the exhibitions. These classrooms were completed with school memorabilia, artifacts and photographs, evoking memories and nostalgia.
The public was invited to participate in a social media contest by taking selfies and wefies with the classroom and posting the photos with #GoodMorningCher, where the top 10 most liked posts were rewarded with limited edition ez-link cards.
It was a beautiful thing to have tens of thousands of people coming together to reminisce the good old days, and to see the younger generation connecting with the older ones. This has indeed been a meaningful event Milton Singapore is proud to have been part of.
