Halloween @ Universal Studios Singapore
Singapore - The widely anticipated scare event of the year, Halloween Horror Nights 4 by Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) was back for its fourth installment this year, running for 13 nights from 3 October to 1 November at the Universal Studios Singapore.
As all hell breaks loose, the cheery amusement park by day was transformed into horror at night, with the action unveiling from the Hollywood Street where Minister of Evil will descend and unleash “Democracy”.
Milton Singapore was tasked with staging and décor production for the very first action experience point at Hollywood Street. Working closely with the client, the team also orchestrated build and décor for Mati Camp, one of the four haunted houses where the most number of scare-actors were stationed. 33 “soldiers and officers” ready for anyone who dared to challenge.
The record breaking event with four haunted houses and four immersive scare zones also featured Singapore’s first 3D haunted house this year. For Milton Singapore, it took the operations team three months, working only when night fell to build the Mati Camp from scratch and complete setup at Hollywood Street. The park was in its normal operations during the day.
Halloween Horror Nights 4 marked Milton Singapore’s third year of involvement in RWS’s scare event of the year, working closely with RWS for the event since 2012.
In support of the team’s hard work, fellow colleagues visited the event and experienced the scare elements for themselves, and were thrilled with how drastically the park transformed when night fell. With the awesome atmosphere and scare-actors, even a team formation did not help much in getting through the night peacefully.
