CAAS Roadshow in Singapore

Singapore – The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) is the Statutory Board under the Ministry of Transport. The duty of CAAS is to oversee the issues of the industry and provide air navigation services, etc. With an aim to raise public awareness of Singapore aviation and to promote aviation careers, CAAS organized a roadshow from June to July, exhibiting in different places around Singapore and with the first appearance on Orchard Road. Milton Singapore was appointed to be the technical manager of the roadshow. Four enclosed zones and more than 3 interactive programs were built by the team.

From design to fabrication, Milton Singapore team only had a month to complete the project. Preparation time was extremely precious and the schedule was tight. Since the first CAAS roadshow was located on Orchard Road, one of the Singapore’s prime tourist attractions and commercial districts, approvals were needed from nine different government departments before any actions being taken. The team spent almost three weeks on the coordination with the corresponding government departments.

Other major challenges were the sourcing of waterproof materials for the four containers exhibited outdoor and the specific display items requested by the client.

Despite all challenges, Milton Singapore was able to deliver an experience that well exceeded the client’s expectation. All the challenges have been tackled and the project was perfectly completed under limited time.
