Hong Kong Tourism Board Pavilion
The primary mission of Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is to maximise the social and economic contribution that tourism makes to the community of Hong Kong, and consolidate the city’s position as the desired destination. Milton Hong Kong team was appointed by HKTB to design and build the Hong Kong Pavilion for trade shows in Australia and the USA. We are honoured to have the opportunity to build HKTB’s pavilion adopting its destination brand “Hong Kong, Asia World’s City” in Las Vegas, Miami, and Melbourne.
To ascertain a consistent brand image is projected at all cities, the same design of the pavilion was used in these cities. Considering the different exhibition sizes, requirement, materials and venue regulations in the three cities, our project team planned well in advance. Reusable, eco-friendly and easily transported materials were carefully selected. In addition, we proposed certain changes to the set up in order to maximize the exhibition floor space for an effective and safe visitor flow.
The pavilion turned out nicely and was able to catch the eyes of visitors easily due to its colourful design. We were especially pleased to be able to take part in the Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo 2014, as it is regarded as one of the largest international business expos of the travel industry with over 750 exhibitors joining from 5 continents.
